Budget Services

Tararua REAP Budget Services Financial Mentors help individuals build financial capabilities through FinCap, a service supported by the Ministry of Social Development.  Trained Financial Mentors offer free and confidential financial, one-on-one support to help navigate through financial hardship.  Budgeting support can support one to:  reduce weekly cash-flow pressures, pay overdue bills, save for home ownership, negotiate with creditors, offer specialised advice for KiwiSaver withdrawals, bankruptcy, IRD or WINZ support.  In addition, one learns the fundamentals of good money management which builds and improves financial capability.
