REAP Reading Assistance Programme (RRAP)
RRAP has been operating in the Tararua District since 1994. It is a joint venture between Tararua REAP and Tararua schools to provide one to one help for students with identified reading difficulties. Tararua REAP provides tutor training, professional support and pays an agreed amount for each hour of tutoring. Some schools fund programmes for students and a parent payment option is available.
Schools provide the tutors and monitor the programme. Each student receives 30 hours of tutoring in the form of sixty, half hour, daily lessons, focussing on easy reading, writing and instructional reading.
If you would like more information about the REAP Reading Assistance Programme contact us on 06 374 6565 or email email@example.com.
